I think the best chances for jobs right now would be with some machine shop skills.
The way manufacturing jobs seem to work is that everyone starts sweeping floors and works up from there.
Most don't have instructors and assembly/fitting jobs are pretty far up the food chain.
I wouldn't think that Shot would be a good place. Most of the people there are sales types and everyone is so busy you'd be hard put to get much time with anyone.
Many of the web sites have employment sections but I've never looked at one.
If you're still in FL you might want to look at Taurus. Kel-tec and Knight
