(Warning: Graphic) Police Shooting in California

Not sure how this review will go for the officer, even though one can say the suspect was pretty dumb for fighting the officer over what may have been a relatively minor beef. Warning: Video clip in the story, rather graphic, too.

If this plays you will see a handgun in his right hand as he goes down:

...that it's not a pistol but a magazine that he pulled from one of the officer's pouches.

They're all working for me. Maybe check your browser settings. Are you getting any error messages?

Check and see if you are using https as part of the URL. If yes, try deleting the S and use only http and the rest of the link.

I'm not quite understanding why the cop felt he had to reach for his gun???
Three steps back, pull some pepper spray and let him have it.
Of course, I wasn't there...

...another video - shot from a parked vehicle - shows the deceased punching the officer and a Taser failure.

I don't know where those bullets struck but, for as long as it took for the guy to drop after those first few shots, I get the sense that he was either very determined to walk away or to leave in a body bag.

I don't know current policy but LASD (not the department involved in this incident) policy used to be not to deploy Taser or pepper spray unless another deputy was covering the subject with a firearm.

The taser was applied it seems I read with him still coming and little effect. The guy had been discharged from the military not so honorably and been going through depression for awhile his mother said. She felt bad for cop.
