| Redo dot - Aimpoint or EOtech?
Might be able to get a nice red dot for my SA vZ-58 soon, looking at either an EOtech 512 or an Aimpoint T1 micro, major wants are reflex style sight, easy to use, very long battery life, bright enough to use in desert sun, rugged and holds zero on picatinny rail.

Get the Aimpoint - if you want to save a little coin and don't plan on using night vision, buy the matte-finished H-1 for a few dollars less. I have a T-1...it's truly a step beyond what else is out there. |

I prefer the Aimpoint over the eotech. I dont like any Eotech when using the 3x magnifier.. just doesnt seem right to me. |

I love the EOTech on the flat top receiver of an AR (great reticle), but Aimpoint is the better choice for just about everything else.
