Robarms

They need 40 people to get those prices down so sign up fast. These are selling for under $100 less than what you'll normally see them for.

The prices are:

Vepr K or II in 7.62X39: $460

Vepr K or II in 5.45X39: $479

Vepr K or II in 5.56 NATO: $489

Vepr K or II w/muzzle brake in 7.62X39: $499

Vepr K or II w/muzzle brake in 5.45X39:$520

Vepr K or II w/muzzle brake in 5.56 NATO: $519

I wish Larry Correia would have told me about this a few months ago but there's no excuse to spend $350-$400 on a Romanian AK with prices like this.

I'll second Soda-Pop's recommendation. These are fantastic rifles. You won't be sorry if you buy one, and this is a fantastic price.

I have the VEPR II in .223, and I have loved the rifle. The only modification that I have made was to replace the rear notch sight with a peep sight that I bought from Krebs Custom.

What kinda accuracy do you get with that VEPR in .223? Also, what kind of mags does it take, and are they cheap, and availible in standard capacity?

The rifle is more accurate than I am. I am not a fan of the rear notch site that is standard issue on AK type rifles, and just recently added the peep sight which I expect to help my shooting. I am used to peeps, shooting mainly M1A and M1carbine. I'll post a report once I get a chance to get her to the range. In the meantime, there are some pictures of target results for these rifles on the robarm site.

I get my mags directly from Robinson Armaments http://www.robarm.com for $25 per. They are the standard capacity magazine. Availability has not been an issue. I know that some have used the Bulgarian Waffle Mags with good success, but I prefer going the no hassle route and getting the mags direct from Robinson.
