Re: Snake's Great Cheap/Bulk .22LR Ammo Shootout

I just received a large lot of remmy cyclones. Yech.

Maybe thirty% fail to extract from a 10/22 and a walther p22. All that went in my k22 went bang but even my match target woodsman hated to extract the
Wwb .22's in the 235 count boxes(?!?) worked wonderfully but only wallyworld and cabelas seem to carry them.

My DPMS M4gery .22 will do an inch at 50 with just about anything, and I think its best group to date was in the 5/8" range, I think with Win Dynapoints. It's a DARN accurate little rifle, hampered only by its magazines--only 10 rounders were ever available, and even those are hard to find these days. Glad I got three when I could.

I think if I scoped it, groups would tighten up. The 2 MOA red dot and 6 lb. trigger seems to be the limiting factors.
