| Sportsmans Guide 1903 repair kit ??'s
Has anybody ordered the repair kit that Sportsmans Guide lists for the 1903? It includes a disassembled bolt and parts, trigger, follower spring, etc. I was wondering on the maker and if it was truly 1903 parts. For 40.00 it would be a real deal if it was.

I haven't ordered the kit you mention , but , my experience with that company is getting to be more of a roll of the dice as the years go on  It's getting so I don't normally even look at the catalogs anymore .Jack |

Sportsmans guide is getting pricey. A couple of months back, the complete bolt was about $39., check the price now. You can find parts cheaper at other sites.

You'd also need a set of headspace guages. If you change the bolt, you also change the headspace.
