M1905 Bayonet Help needed

I just today managed to get a 16" M1905 bayonet from a friend for the price of a used ATX PSU. (No, NOT too good to be true!)
The problem is, the handle (wood) is gone, as is the internals that lock it to the bayonet lug. Is there anyone that might have parts for this? How hard is it to take the parts from another bayonet and swap them??
Please help!

I think it was SARCO had reproduction wood grips advertised in the Shotgun News. $15 if I remember correctly.

Gun Parts/Numrich might have the internal parts. Maybe.

Good luck.

Sportsman's Guide also carries reproduction wood grips--don't remember the price though.

I have been known to buy the M1905's that were cut down to 6" in Korea and then reimported just for the internal parts and handles.

Actually, thats what I did. FOund a site that advertised the 6" blade for $20. Only problem I had with it was the spring didnt allow it to work too well. Had to compress it some, but its working OK now.

But these were M1905s that were cut down? Thats a shame. Figured they might do that to the M1's.

Any idea if the M5 internals will work with these? Site I got the cutdown from had some of the "demiled" handles for sale cheap, and if the parts will work, I might grab a couple.
