Ruger P.C. Carbine

When Ruger first came out with the new 9mm. PC carbine, I was quit interested in this nifty weapon. But I couldn't find it anywhere.
After listening to Rush Limbaugh today, I was a bit downcast and annoyed by the idiot political dog + pony show about Kavanaugh being put on in D. C., so thinking I'd only window shop I took a drive to my local Academy Sports. I am fairly well known to a salesman there (who looks a lot like Wilfred Brimley including mustache) so I got into a brief talk with him .... then I saw it.
Well, actually, they had five. Now, they have four.
Bank account; your sacrifice is noted, and is not in vain.
Still have to get a sling for it. It's actually wearing a scope now, a inexpensive UTG 3-9X scope with a red/green illuminated crosshair. It's pretty nice .... but I'm not sure how permanent it will be. Maybe a red dot will be better?
First I need to get the gun sighted with the rather nice iron sights it has.
This is the only gun I have with a fluted barrel, one of two which are "take-down" models, and it will be keeping the Ruger SR9 mag insert since I have that pistol, I am good on mags as well.
It seems a nice, well made carbine. I'm hoping to enjoy it.
Sure threw some sunlight on a otherwise dreary day!

Everyone on YouTube who reviews it seems to like it. I've never seen one in the wild but hope to doubt someone will show up at the club with one.

The features list is impressive: multiple magazine options, threaded barrel, trigger much improved over the 10-22, rail, flutes, length-of-pull spacers. If I didn't already have a Beretta CX-9 I'd probably be shopping for one of these right now. Still might.

Let us know how it shoots.
