I was looking for a synthetic stock for my Springfield. The Bell and Carlson seem to be the best out there. Do these stocks make the "hollow plastic" sound like my Remington 800? Who has the best deals.

Are the Ramline stocks still as bad as I remember? They are cheaper, but you get what you pay for

USMC if you want to go to the front of the line and get the best first you want a McMillan. Same stock they use on Marine Corps M40A1 built at WTB at Quantico.

If you want the last word right from the get go contact Iron Brigade Armory. Most all their people are former Corps armorers from Quantico. They cost alot but you have a first class rifle for a long time. I have a friend with two of theirs. One already has over 10,000 rounds on it and still flying fine.
