Hungarian 7.62 in 1891/30?

i bought the PKM linked 7.62x54r on sportsmans guide. anyone shoot this in their mosins? its pretty heavy 174 gr, is this too heavy? I bought it on impluse because i thought it would be cool to have some ammo on a belt, and if i dont use it for shootin' i could hang it on the wall or something.

It'll shoot. It will have a changed POI from the 148gr Light Ball. Make sure that your chamber is clean before you start, as this stuff tends to get sticky upon extraction.

I have up to 204 gr for mine, and plenty of 148 gr too.

the cases look exactly like wolf cases...pretty interesting. 30-06 fits in the links too. I have about 100 rounds of dented unusable KA headstamped .30 cal that i think will find a new home in these links as a decoration.
