New forum! knives and bayonets

Most of us collect them along with the old cosmo soaked rifles. I've got M2, M3, M4, m1905, M1 knives and baonets as well as a smattering of foreign stuff. So lets get some chatter started. Who has what? Who has questions? Lets see some pictures!

Not a big collection by any means but here is my one bayo with a rifle attached to it. Model 1907 bayonet manufactured by Wilkinson in Jan of 1908. Rifle is the No1Mk3 dated 1911.

Those 3 M1905s 16 inch bayonets are a 43 UFH, a 42 OL and a 42 WT. Not what I call a big collection of 16 inch 05s, but at least there are two of the hard ones to find.

I recently purchased a correct grade M1 Garand, manufactured in 1955. I am wondering where I can get a "correct" bayonet, scabbard and sling.

"Correct" bayonets and slings are available at just about any gun show. Properly your M1 should have an M1 bayonet, but a cutdown 1905 would also be correct. You are looking at somewhere between $65 and $100 for the typical Garand bayonet. You also want the web type sling. Those are generally $10 or less.
