How to remove Aluminum from M1A barrel finish?? Thank You!!

Hello, While barrel was in holder in vice it twisted and some Aluminum transfered on to the barrel. Can anyone tell me how to remove it without hurting the park finish? Thanks..

Get a piece of leather for your vice. The leather will grip very well and will not mar the finish
