Great facility, great folks.
Bring 300 rounds minimum, and be prepared to shoot fast and well. Iron sights preferred, but scopes can be used.
Not M1As only; just bring your desire to shoot well and learn.

I had such a GOOD time at the "Ripcord" shoot, that I feel like a kid on Christmas eve waiting for morning to come, but in this case, Fred's "WWII Sniper" class.
Rain or shine, see ya there.

Is this range open any time other than the special weekends listed on Fred's website? If it's got popup targets out to 500meters, I'd drive all the way down from Virginia to shoot there on a regular basis.

I'd suggest sending $20 and joining the RWVA (Revolutionary War Veterans' Association), thereby becoming a member of the club.
Just call 336-879-2144, and ask for Fred; I am sure that they will help you out with the regular hours.

I donít think the associates membership allows you so show up and shoot whenever you want.
Itís more for fulfilling the CMP club membership rule.
And I think you have to be a North Carolina resident to become a full fledged member.
To become a full member I think there is a probationary period and you have to shoot expert.
