Painted up one of my USGI synthetic stocks....
 

...for a different look.
Now that it's summer I painted this one up in a plain "winter gray".
As part of a two season theme for my M1A the next one will be plain "summer green".
It's simple and plain, but so am I. :wink:

Somehow these rifles just plain look good no matter how they are "dressed". :)

What kind of stock is that with the built in cheekpiece? Or did you use a GI fiberglass stock and add that yourself?

GI fiberglass with Bondo built up cheek-piece and palm-swell. Feels great in the hand and no more "chin-weld". :wink:

PBill, that looks quite nice. I like the grey remington 710 stock color, and yours looks similar. kind of a somber, all businesss european look IMHO.
