Who made the stock?
I often wondered who made what & how things got their names & on weapons you often have a reference book, however I cannot find one as to who made the stock for that H&R or is fact is the stock correct for that H&R rifle. Can anyone give me some input on where I might obtain that info?
Thanking you in advance for any input;

I believe that HRA stocks were manufactured by Overton. There are several varieties and some folks can ID which stocks were made at which facilities and on which machines.
I don't know if any of that information is written in any reference, but I would certainly start with Scott Duff's Postwar M1 text.
You might also try posing the question on Garanditis, but you better have your question straight and succinct, as these are the folks who know the answers, but are reluctant about sharing sometimes. Really expert information there, but difficult to get as these are big time collectors who share info with each other for the purpose of completing collections and understanding the actual history more than sharing and illuminating the casual collector.
Absolutely no disrespect to their actions or expertise intended here, just saying be direct and polite.
