Try http://www.gibrass.com/ not only do you get clips, but you get non-corrosive 1969 Lake City ammo! If all else fails, you can get them (clips by themselves, no ammo) at gunshows for about $1 each, which is kind of expensive, buying in bulk you can get them closer to $.50 each. The Korean ammo on Garand clips is corrosive, but not all Korean ammo is, look around this forum and you will find out how to tell the difference. I've heard some rumblings that the new reproduction clips don't work well, but I haven't actually encountered someone who has tried them yet.

Since the Garand can't function as a semi-auto without clips, you'll need a lot of them, I'd get a minimum of 20, but talk to the other guys they'll have a better idea of how many you'll need.

hard to believe it but I bought a some new clips from a gun show, at 75 cents ea. now these may have been korean, don't really know, but they do have US makers marks on them. and all of them functioned great

if there is a gunshow coming up in your area it might be worth wild to check that out..... if you are going to be buying a lot, d-i-c-k-e-r on the price.

now I have read that the clips from TAPCO, are garbage.....the guys that bought those had nothing but problems with them.....so take it for what it's worth......personally I wouldn't deal with them, they rape you on shipping.

there is nothing wrong with Korean clips or ammo

the Korean stuff is gen-u-wine mil surp, and nobody laughs at ROK troops or their gear

the TAPCO clips are supposed to be new Chinese mfr, some have reported mixed results, they are not mil surp.

call northridge and ask them where they are made

glocknut,

There is nothing wrong with the Korean ammo (or it's clips), but some of it is corrosive. Another poster here destroyed a barrel because he didn't realize that the ammo was corrosive (sometimes companies "forget" to print that it is corrosive). The KA, I know is corrosive (it's the stuff on clips), but the PS is not. You should look around the forum before buying the ammo, however, because some of it was improperly stored and is dangerous to fire (boom goes your rifle...). A couple of people have been compiling a list of good and bad lots of the non-corrosive ammo. A search (up by the login button) for "PS 2-144" will help you find the lists.

The really bad lot that Cheaper than Dirt shows on it's website is; PS 2-152, it's had ruptured head problems.

My vote is to go with the Korean KA...just can't beat the price for ammo, bandos, and enblocs!

Yeah, ammoman has 376 rounds of KA in enblocs & bandoliers for $79 delivered. Sure it is corrosive but that just adds a couple of minutes to cleaning. Run a windex soaked patch through the barrel and gas cylinder at the range then clean when you get home.

If you happen to be in the area you could stop by Knob Creek, Kentucky this weekend.
