| Out of spec......
I have an op-rod with a tab height of.310 instead fo the min .317. At the range I installed it in my HRA and IHC, to my surprise,it stayed in the reciver channel and functioned perfectly. I had visions of it riding out of the channel on the first shot. Any thoughts on why the ordinance spec is so high? Thanks in advance.

I have seen worn tabs on op rods work perfectly.. a lot depends on the receiver channel for the oprod tab.. but I'd say your tab is on the ragged edge of working right.... it might last a while.. it might not...... I'd shoot it until it starts to jump....... then get it welded... I have done 2 tabs and filed them down to the right specs and they work perfectly.......
