I think I've just decided to finish setting up for parkerizing sooner than I had expected. I was going to put it off for a while longer. I want to get my Rifles all finished off. Do any of you get tired of seeing many of your rifles in pieces parts all over the place? If you do, then you know how I feel.

Hey Danny,
I've done small parts successfully and I have been getting set up for full scale parkerizing for awhile now. Only thing I lack at the moment is app. 4 gal. of solution and an uncluttered day to devote to the process. That and some of JAS's magic green park thread cutting oil. Also, I've been trying to decide whether to go with commercial chemicals or try one of the "home brew" recipes. I built three different sizes of tanks and can handle any length part but so far something has always gotten in the way. Four Garands are torn down at the moment and like you, it really bugs me to see them that way.

I got into it about 6 months ago mainly because of the the class 3 items I have, and I have now done 4 M1's, 2 M1A1 Thompsons, and a 1918 BAR. It is quite rewarding to see just how nice they come out.
