Need bayonet and sling
I have a correct grade H&R, vintage 1955. It's in really nice shape with all matching walnut. I have cleaned the walnut and plan to finish it with Brownells linseed oil.
I have the cleaning kit and the combo tool. To complete the rifle, I need a bayonet with scabbard and a sling. I would like to get real USGI parts. I know there's a lot of stuff out there, but they may be reproductions. How can I get "correct" parts for my 1955 H&R?
Have I missed any parts, or does the bayonet and sling make it complete?

The correct bayonet for your rifle would be a M5 or M5A1 with an M8 scabbard. They are plentiful and inexpensive. You should be able to pick up a bayo and scabbard for $35 or so even at ebay and on the gun auction boards.
