Repark for rear sight?
Hoping to win an ebay auction for a type II lockbar sight. The finish is pretty worn though and I'd like it to match the receiver on my 2 mil M1. How much would it probably cost to repark and who should I send it to for the job?
By the way, I'm new to this forum. I'd like to say hello to everyone!

Cost should be reasonable. Some of the more established refinishers charge by the pound for reparking parts.
The biggest challenge would be to match your rifle. Depending on the color of your rifle that may be impossible. To get the best match you may end up getting the whole rifle reparked.

Even reparking the whole rifle they may not match. different metals from different batches will park different colors
