I went to the local circuit Gunshow today. Shows up about once every 3 months or so.
My plan was to stock up on Primers, as they are about 1/2 the price at the gunshow that they are in the local Gunshops. I got 13,000. That should last me for a week or so. Seriously, get all my -06, 308, and 223 loaded.
While there I checked out a couple of Garands that were at a table run by a gunshow dealer. Rack or Field grade, with Greek Mystery finish, in a brown Beechwood stock, sporting a mid WW2 SA/EMcF cartouche . I didn't even bother to ask the price, I just turned and walked away.

Those beechwood EMcF cartouched stocks are kinda rare aren't they? I need a NFR to finish a project I have going, and a guy recently tried to sell me a birch stock stamped with a NFR cartouche. It's a shame people do this.

Well, at least it's nice when the offered item is such an obvious fake and not one you discover on closer examination when you get it home.
