Just opened the CMP Box!!

A very nice SA 5,7 million correct grade! The buttstock is a lighter color than the two hand guards (two-tone) and in really nice shape. But who cares thats the way a lot garands were issued I kind of like it. The whole rifle is in great shape almost NEW! About 95% park, TE 1.5 and MW 1.5. I will get some photos out this weekend.

It's not fair to keep me in suspense like that ... Is it a Springfield or a H&R ? I know the odds favor a H&R but if it's the other ... nice catch for real sir !!

My service grade looked almost ready to shoot; no cosmoline, just ordnance grease. Mine shoots like a dream....

I need that rear handguard if you ever decide to make them match. I broke mine and yours will match my stock set perfectly

Very nice rifle dj. I just got mine Thursday, a very nice 5.6 million HRA Correct Grade. Park is 95% plus and the wood is all matching walnut, and very trim. I don't have gauges yet but I sure hope it gauges out close to yours!
By the way SHADOW, how did you break that handguard?
SKIP

That's a beauty. I like the two tone look. It adds interest.
