Need Handguards

Hi everyone, I am in need of a front, and rear handguard. Preferably walnut. If anyone has any they don't need, and wouldn't mind parting with for a price that isn't too bad, or knows where I might be able to get some HG's that are priced fairly, I'd greatly appreciate your information. Thank you!!

Thanks guys. I'll probably have to check out boyds, or wenig, as e-bay has a lot of people who want retarded amounts of money for birch handguards. I'd really like to not go thru cabelas, because they want just as much as anyone on e-bay for boyds stuff, which typically has to be sanded down to fit anyway. I like M1's, and shooting M1's, and owning M1's, but it doesn't take long to get expensive, that's for sure.

I've got a pair of brand new handguards that I'll sell you for $30 complete with metal. The problem? They came from SARCO and are made from an unusual hardwood that's lighter (in weight) than walnut and is stained a dark brown which looks almost black. I think they could be stripped and refinished but I don't want to mess with it. If you're interested you can reach me at [email protected].

You might want to try Doug's Stock Pile too, though I'm not sure if he sells handguards separtately. His prices are very reasonable, you should give him a call.

For me, eBay has (for the most part) worked out well. I needed original walnut hanguards to match a SA stock I bought from Doug's stockpile. For $12.00 I picked up a decent condition front handguard and I'm bidding on a matching upper handguard now that I'll probably get for around $10.00. With shipping, that's about $30.00 total for both and they are originals with no cracks and match the wood on my stock. Should look nice after refinishing.

That said, I've also been burned a couple of times (for small amounts). Just look at the sellers history, feedback, read the descriptions and shipping fees, etc. before you bid and you can do well.

Good luck,
Chris

Debbie usually has what you need, and will try her best to match colors. Give her a call, or send email. She usually doesn't list what she has in walnut on the web page.
