The 3 mill # I have is like your top photo. The font and size is like the top photo. Can especially tell by the number "9" , very different between top and bottom photo.

Guys, PM him or email him the actual serial numbers. That will help him a lot more than just telling him the sizes. He can use the info to narrow it down or find out if there is an overlap.

All I can say is that between my 2959014 and your 3094590 they went from the medium font to the smaller narow font. Hopefully more people can chime in with info but I don't hear much talk about carbines in this serial # range.
