Confused about the CMP Inlands

After fighting the good fight and getting my Inland, the CMP web page now says "accepting orders, no limit"

Makes my head hurt

R017IN INLAND $495.00
S&H - $22.95
Accepting Orders,
no limit

I am trying to start the rumor that all the remaining Inlands are either "Correct" or "Collector" grades.

  • You may have get success with that rumor since I'm sure few will read the disclaimer on the site that they don't expect to have any correct or collector grade carbines.

They stopped taking orders to make sure that all mail orders recived would get filled. Now they are filled they are up for sale again. I would guess the "no limit" is to move them out before Sept 4 when the Underwoods come up for sale

I just ordered another CMP SG Garand so that kind of eats up my gun budget for awhile. I did get a CMP Inland and already have a correct grade Underwood, so I am probably carbine satisfied for awhile...............

"...web page now says..." It says they're sold out as of 16 Aug. 1200 carbines sold in one week.
