I think the most appropriate response to his original question is- HOW BIG a pig ya' shooting? I think its more than adequate for the lil' fella's.........
For the big-uns I think the question is either how many rounds do you want to have to fire (OR) how far do ya' wanna chase a blood trail?
There's lots -o- peeps that archery hunt pigs and given the choice between a bow ( I've shot for 24 years, not so much in the last 5) and a carbine with a mad pig...... I'd take the carbine ANY day
Remember Murphy's principle too- When in doubt...Empty the magazine
