Not very many Carbines at the local show, and the few that were for sale were horribly overpriced.

I did find a nice gentleman that was selling M1 Garand, Carbine & M14 parts though. Bought a mint condition M2 Inland trigger group for $50. The internal parts are a mix of older parts - the hammer is marked W, the sear looks like an M2 sear, but I won't know the mfg until I take it apart for cleaning.


He had an SA and a NPM trigger group, both for the same price. I should have snagged them too.

Hammer: W
Flip Saftey: N
M2 Mag Catch: E.I.
Trigger & M2 Sear: R.I.

That's a good price, and all are USGI to boot! There is a good $100 in parts there.

My local show today had some what I thought were very over priced Carbines and Garands...I wish I new more about Carbines, who knows maybe one of them was a jem !!! Mike
