Just a couple of photos

These are some of my collection. The first pic is one by each of the major makers. The second pic are a few of my oddballs like an UN-Q, Spring tube Inland, M1A1, Inland strikeout Underwood...

Ok Bolo, as you can see it is an F.S. Co. 1943 belt pouch for both carbine and .45 1911 clips. It is actually a light tan color with Kahki piping. I suspect it may have been intended for desert use, but that is speculation on my part.

That pouch was produced for use by the Marine Corps as evidenced by the NoM number. The color is actually the result of what sea salt water and a hot Pacific sun will do to it.

That was where the USMC term "salty" came from. A veteran gyrene was considered to be salty after making a landing or two.
