How about a modified 500 Mag. I changed the muzzle break so it is less gassy when shooting it. It seems like a 44 mag now, with a tad more power. ![]() |

Just picked this 29-4 up for Christmas, and am waiting for it to get here. Also am getting a 3 inch barrel for it as well. I've been mostly a semi-pistol guy for years, and my carry gun till now has been a Luger, but the lure of this beastie was just too much to pass by on. I figure with the 3 inch barrel and a nice set of either combat or Paychmeyer grips, it should make a nice (if substantial) carry gun. ![]() |

Hmmmmmm. Okaaaaaaaayyyyy.... ![]() Seriously, nice looking revolver there. Congratulations on your new wheelgun! Actually the photo isn't bad, but the revolver could use a little more lighting to make it stand out against the background, which is OK to be darker for contrast and to keep the eyes focused on the gun. ....My mother is an artist and used to do a lot of photography ... you pick up these things. ![]() | |

This is my Frankenstein .45 ACP revolver, a refugee of the Brazilian Navy. I added a S&W adjustable rear sight, and the front sight is from a Ruger rifle. Reblued it, gave it stocks found at a gun show, and a few other transmogrifications. As long as things were getting weird, I decided it should live in a violin case, just for the shock effect at the range. And it is one of the most "fun" guns I own. People raise an eyebrow, then chuckle, and then ask if they can shoot it. The full moon clip reloads stun those who haven't seen it before, "Holy sh*t, that's so fast!". And it will gobble up loads that my 1911 doesn't care for, so I don't have to take them apart. I enjoy the hell out of this thing... |
