Do a GOOGLE search on Forehand Arms Company, Worcester Mass. I have a 12 ga. double with exposed hammers built by the same company. There's quite a bit of info online about them. I was not searching for revolver info so I don't know what you might come up with. My shotgun is well made and fitted. With it as the only example of their work, I'd say they made quality firearms. Hope this helps.

The Blue Book list the Hopkin and Allen Forehand Model in both .32 and .38 S&W. Nurmich has a parts page here but doesn't say if it's a top-break or solid frame. H&A made both and marked both Forehand Model. Your revolver was made somewhere between 1902 and 1914.
