Deerslayer feath 16 forend cap notched pre 75

Usually screw caps right off. Help

If not screwdriver slotted, pad the jaws of some channel locks (or tape up the cap) and unscrew it.

This is assuming there's no detent pin that has to be depressed to release it. If so, try a pin punch to move the pin, might have a rust problem.

Cap was dented a little. Little TLC got it off. Now if can find 16 g slugs. Thanx
