Barf!

Here's what I put my faith in:

I do own a GLOCK 23 in .40 S&W but it's not a carry gun but midnight callers.

When I'm out and about casually I have this in Mexican carry:

csmkersh,

Are those grips on the bottom 1911 antique ivory?? = I LIKE.

Fwiw, I talked to a vendor at the "little" SATX gun-show yesterday & am "negotiating for" a pair of circa WWII/Korean War carved ivory grips for my "new to me" GM in .38 Super.
(Those grips are anything but CHEAP but they are surely "downright purty" to look at.)

yours, sw

They look like some sort of light colored wood to me.

I wish they were ivory. I'm still kicking my self for not buying ivory when it was cheap. Snake's nailed it; they are wood.

csmkersh,

The vendor wants 200 bucks for the pair that I looked at yesterday. = They are carved & about the same color as the ones on your pistol.
(I haven't decided to pay about HALF of that the .38 Super cost me.)
