"Top guns desert embattled Smith & Wesson"

Interesting story despite the tortuous purple headline...

Top guns desert embattled Smith & Wesson.

But imagine S&W having has a President named "Colt Melby" and us not knowing about it!

Whatever happened to Sam's buddy Bob Scott?

Maybe he was as truthful with the owners as he was with you in the past....

Bob Scott is still there- in Arizona- but has been pretty quiet lately.

Melby was said to be the money behind the saf-t-hammer organization and then purchase of S&W.

Apparently there is some question about how they originally reported earnings in SEC reports and issued a press release some time back stating that earnings were recalculated. I really didn't pay much attention to that.

It is unclear whether or not the bloodletting that took place in Springfield a couple of weeks ago is related to the present management changes. My contacts with Roy Cuny have been limited, but very pleasant.
