We can only hope that Roberts is biding his time until he's sure of the outcome should the court decide to hear one of these cases. It's bad for us when the Court turns these challenges away; it would be worse if they accepted one and we lost. Trump is making great strides in appointing federal judges. Perhaps it won't be long before there's a pro-gun win at the appellate level that's in direct conflict with a decision in another circuit. In that case the Supremes would probably be more inclined to decide the issue. |
