| This Is What A Republican Landslide Actually Looks Like
The power of the Democrat Party has been broken & beaten back to the-end-of Civil War levels. THIS IS WHAT AN ACTUAL LANDSLIDE LOOKS LIKE. Republicans control 67 of 98 partisan chambers in the states. Democrats control 31 of 98 partisan chambers in the states. Republicans have 34 Governors. Democrats have 16 Governors. Republicans control both chambers in 32 states. Democrats control both chambers in 13 states. Republicans have both the Legislature and Governor's office in 24 states. Democrats have both the Legislature and Governor's office in 6 states. Republicans have 1,089 state Senate seats. Democrats have 823 state Senate seats. Republicans have 3,029 state house seats. Democrats have 2,340 state House seats. Republicans Control the US House of Representatives with 239 seats. Republicans control the US Senate with 51 seats. Republicans control the White House. In 8 years, Dems have surrendered almost 1,200 elected positions at the Federal, State, and local levels. 11 blue states 39 red states Almost a 4:1 ratio. |

...and the best part is they still can't figure out why they lost. They've drifted so far left in their positions that a lot of former Democrats don't even recognize the party of Truman, Kennedy, and Johnson. And yet their response to the election appears to be to move the party even closer to the real left wing zealots: Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Keith Ellison. Another sad truth is that Democrat presidents are elected by women. Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama had enough sex appeal to get women to the polls in droves. When the Democrats run a less-than-studly candidate (think Mondale, Dukakis, Gore) they run with a severe handicap. Additionally, of the 33 Senate seats up for reelection in 2018, only 8 are currently held by Republicans. There is a real chance for major pickups among the 25 that currently belong to, or vote with, the Democrats. |

Now... let's hope the GOP doesn't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... again.

Remember.....In politics NOTHING is ever settled. Each party has been many times devastated in an election and the pundits rave on about whether the party will survive or splinter. In a few cycles the situation is reversed. |

| I think people are really getting fed up being controlled by a minority while being called every name in the book and footing the bill.

Not to mention being nibbled to death by idiotic regulations produced by non-elected cubicle critters with little, if any, real world experience. I recently had to replace a toilet...took me hours to find one with a flush flow greater than a cup of Evian. I could rant on this for quite awhile. I'll simply observe that the small amount of water doesn't get you the swirl effect that scours the bowl. You then may need multiple flushes plus some bowl brush swizzling. Which, of course, uses much more water (save the water molecules!!) than the older water wasting units. |

I've heard some of the libtards say they need to go more to the left, like Bernie and that will help them gain voters. They don't understand what happened at all.

Actually, Bill's number is off by one. WA State Senate isn't truly GOP, it's "GOP plus one Rogue Dem who Benedict Arnolded on condition that HE get to be Majority Leader." We are truly, as the saying goes, One Heartbeat Away from being Burn-In-Hellifornia Del Norte... |

According to Mark Steyn all the Democrat problems have been explained by the Media. It's all because they have white males on the DNC and Bernie Sanders is a White Supremacist. Geoff Who wonders if the GOP will produce a pamphlet welcoming all white males? |

| And the latest: Russian manufactured fake news and voter suppression led to their electoral defeat.

If this election proved anything, it's how dangerously off the rails liberal Democrats are.

Jill Stein demanding a recount, is like Rosie O'Donnell complaining that her scale is 2 pounds off.

Well, as Joe Stalin was supposed to have said: "Does not matter who votes. What matters is who counts votes." If memory serves, by the time they finished recounting and re-recounting votes in the Al Franken election, the total number of votes was more than the number who originally voted. Given the state of the media, the veracity of the tale is suspect, but not beyond possibility. Kinda expect that Soros and/or Bloomberg is footing the bill for recounts. Besides, self delusion seems to be a requirement for Democratic party membership/supporters. |
