Reports on the Internet that Kin Kardashian was held up at gunpoint in her hotel room in Paris.

As this was likely a super high end place, this is pretty wild, how someone could get in past that security. No word on her condition, hopefully she is OK and the intruders just wanted cash and carryables.

Considering the type of private security I would think they would have, though, rather disturbing. It shows the need for armed security even in more "restrictive" nations, as the terror attacks in Europe have also sadly shown recently.

David, there are two kinds of "security"--there are the Serious Professionals who stand ready to trade their lives for their Principals' if need be (as for a time I briefly was, with a lot of help from this community learning the ropes), and then there are the Thugs In Suits usually favored by types like her gangbanger piece-of-sausage.

This story is OBVIOUSLY a LIE and a sick twisted plant -- probably by those who hate the Kardashians. It couldn't POSSIBLY have happened -- never in a zillion years!!!!!
Because we all know european countries have strict gun control laws and thus are utopias!!!! :cryinlaugh::rolleyes::neer::p:headbonk::wine::cheers::sm_angel::cheerschug:

TommyGunn,

VERY TRUE.
Just as there cannot be all of these thousands of reported rapes, robberies & murders in Detroit, Chicago & other "liberal garden spots" that are constantly reported by the popular press. -
Those cities have been controlled for decades by the leftist DIMocRATS, as those places have "strict gun control" and lots & lots of "gun free zones", so the press reports of all that horrifying violence must be LIES.

That poor Kim Kardashian!

She has supported Gun Control (not hitting your target, the other kind). I feel sorry for her... uh-huh... okay... (I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop).

It lets her know that she's not immune to her own bloody foolishness. :p

SpecialEd,

IF the French National police are being truthful (I have NO way to know if they French Police are honest or not.), this isn't an "insurance fraud"; instead, this is a case of "bringing it on yourself" (Read: arrogant/utter STUPIDITY) as the "victim" not only posted in several places on "The Worldwideweird" that she was staying in a particular room in the hotel (with the correct suite number in her posts), was wearing a four million dollar engagement ring & then posted several photos of the ring to the blog.
She then commented on the Internet that she wouldn't be available to post to her blog for at least 4 hours, as she was planning to take a bath, then would sleep for 3 hours AND that she would be alone for that period.

csmkersh,

You are not necessarily paranoid but based on "past performance", the "victim" is just a an overpaid, self-important, fool, who may have unknowingly set herself up to be ripped-off. ===> I just don't know.

As the old Franklyn quote goes, "A fool & his (or her) money are soon parted."
