This is that über-liberal court in San Fransicko, right? That one that's composed of libtards who think "the right of the people" means ...........absolutly nothing at all. I doubt this survives a challenge brought to SCOTUS ... assuming it gets there. Last edited by TommyGunn; 06-09-2016 at 04:12 PM. |

This is another example of why we can't let Shrillary appoint any supreme court justices. They will be there the rest of our lives.

I can't see it be rushed through that quickly of course which throws up right back to the current Presidential contest with the winner appointing the 9th judge and if heaven forbid Hillary wins you know she's not going to appoint a judge favorable to the Second Amendment. This makes me glad I live in a will issue state.

But if the SCOTUS still believes in "stare decisis" (''it has been decided") then the Heller case should be upheld. I've heard the argument on other forums with regards to this case that technically it may not be a bad decision "if"the jurisdiction allows open carry, since it is in that case, only banning one type of carry, not the entire right. I don't know enough about Cali gun laws..... IIRC some places allow open carry but the gun must be unloaded. Some good unloaded carry does. I am glad I don't live on Kommie"fornia". ![]() What I am most concerned about is the very real likelyhood Hillery is elected, because I forsee much grief ahead for the 2A community if that happens, as well as, in effect, 4 or 8 years MORE of an Obama-like government/economy. And I have had enough of it, REALLY.

I expected this decision. Actually I've been expecting it ever since the 2 justice panel ruled that Heller includes CC, and various counties in CA started issuing permits.

If CONCEALED carry isn't a right, then open carry certainly is. I remember something in the BOR to the Constitution about "...the (existing) right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." It is explicit on the right to KEEP and BEAR arms, not being infringed. So if the right isn't to carry concealed, it is certainly to BEAR arms openly. |
