I used a third generation weaponsight a little . It was amazing what it would pick up with just the stars , The flashing red light from the radio tower down the road casts shadows while it flashes . I saw the glow of the coals of a fire a couple hundred yards out , what was amazing was it was reflected off the leaves of the trees nearby ![]() Jack |

"Inexpensive" will usually get you a Gen1 intensifyer tube. You won't be happy with the results. At the least, save your pennies for a Gen2 tube or your dimes for a Gen3 unit. The sight picture will be greatly improved, especially the depth perception. Moe |

jvm, might want to check with Chris at Precision Arms in IL. Super nice guy to work with. He'll take good care of you. He's a great source for surplus ammo, ar15 mags and mags for a whole lot of stuff. Click on one of his items from the link below and drop him a note or some have his phone number. If he don't answer be sure to leave a message, he WILL call you back. He don't list all that he sells. Just tell what you want and he'll help. Just a thought. Take care..Mike...... http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Seller ... =id:300260 |
