Trijicon accu point scopes

I was looking for optics to scope my M1A with now that I have found a decent mount and rings. I was looking through local shops and started to look pretty heavy at the Trijicon accu point. I like the 1.25x4x24 model with the red triangle. It seems to me like you could use it like a dot or reflex sight at closer range on low power and as a traditional scope at higher power for longer range stuff. I also looked at all other options and was not thrilled with most of them. ACOG has the fixed 4x which is a little too high a power for my use,I like the accu point better as far as looks and reticle and power also.

Anyone have good or bad reviews on this scope before I sink $500? I have just about made my mind up but would like your input. TIA TJR
