| GOT my "new to me" P64 this AM = WOW!!!
Friends, I just received my 1974-vintage P64 pistol in the mail about 90 minutes ago from CLASSIC FIREARMS. This little handgun LOOKS "nearly new", with only a small amount of finish wear at the muzzle. (Later today, I'll be installing the 18# Wolff spring to improve the trigger squeeze.) I'm PLEASED "clear down to the ground" with my new to me handgun, which I plan to carry as my duty sidearm, as a TX Deputy Constable. (I'll be doing Emergency Planning for the county & will seldom, if ever, NEED to fire a pistol, except on the range.) yours, sw |

That looks to be a good deal. I may have to consider getting a C&R license. |

Nice. Too bad here in WA even a C&R doesn't do anything... it all has to go to or through a retail FFL for "universal background check."

Diamondback, Pardon me for stating the obvious. = Roads lead OUT of Washington State to places where LIBERTY still lives. (I recommend Texas.) yours, sw |

I know, SW, but when you're the last living male of your family this side of The River with two poorly-aging Ladies Of A Certain Age relatives to keep propped up... ![]() Buying two properties and putting decent houses on 'em, one in TX and the other in the Canadian Rockies for my gal's folks and so she can "touch base" to maintain her own citizenship, is the very FIRST thing on my Powerball Win List. (Well, second... first is getting us each green-cards for the other's country so we can come and go at will.) Family first, ya know? (As much of a pain as they can be at times...) On the one hand, an old classmate is a WA State Legislator and I'm tempted to try to talk to him about a bill to curb Seattle's excesses... on the other, most LEO refuse to enforce it except as a "secondary add-on charge" so nobody can get standing for a court challenge, and few things are so effective in triggering the repeal of an unjust law as its ruthless and vigorous enforcement. |
