D-back and Shep - In totally pragmatic and cold terms, you are absolutely right. The nature of the beast in Communist revolutions seems to favor the nastiest of the nasty rising to the top, and that would fit. Not much of a retirement program for the cadres, but they aren't going to think of that while motivated by the ideology. Addendum: (And I really hate to keep doing these, but this one jumps out.) And if you're licensed or in a Constitutional state and leave your handgun home you just may be providing some left wing nutcase and unarmed victim. Oh, this is the 10th anniversary of Virginia State shooting. The dean chose not to allow those licensed to carry to do so. Thirty plus died because of "caution." |
