Beretta Silencer.

I was wondering how you attach a silencer to a 92, I mean the barrel seems rather short and isn't threaded. And also what would a good one cost, I saw the Gunny using them today on Mail Call and was reminded just how kool they are now.

I doubt you can have one. Check local laws before finding yourself talking to the Judge about it.

It doesn't take a lot of threads. AWC will supply a threaded barrel, with thread protector, for their Abraxas.
I believe they are legal in Ohio. From the AWC website:

The following states have total or partial prohibition of ownership of silencers:

Not Allowed for individual ownership: DE, DC, HI, IL, MS, MT, NY, NJ, RI, CA, KS, MO, MN.

Allowed Class 3 or 2 Dealers only: CA, KS, MO, MN., IL, NY.

Clarification: Legal with the tax stamp from BATFE.

The Abraxas is made from titanium and only weighs ~3 ounces. Not a lot of weight. The standard Beretta barrel is sufficiently long enough for proper threading and support.

I kept my original barrel and had AWC thread a new barrel for my Abraxas. There's very little weight shift and the factory sights can still be used because of the smaller diameter of the unit.

It costs $650 plus the $200 stamp and is one of the best wet cans around when used with EBR subsonic 147gr ammo.
