anybody remember what coins we used to set headspacing and timing for the 50?= I know it was 15 c for the m1919a4, but I can't recollect for the 50- we used to have a coin drill- every member was required to carry 15 c - go was a dime and 5 was the nogo yea, I know we were SUPPOSED to use feeler gages, but only remfs had those |

| What a bargain!
When you think of what gov't paid for that M2 and how much use it must have gotten in the last 94 years, it has proven to be a real bargain for the taxpayer.

Technically, it couldn't be 94 years old because the M2 wasn't adopted until 1933. The M2 evolved from the earlier M1921 design.

it wouldn't be the first time the press has got nomenclature wrong to them everything with a mag hanging down is an ak, anything with a carry handle is an m16 etc- we ALL know better |

| It is more likely that they got the history wrong. The M1921 and M1921A1 were declared obsolete during WW2.
