Beretta M-9 to be Suppressed--Best barrel?
I am thinking about buying a Gemtech for my Beretta M-9, assuming someone can point me to a quality barrel that is threaded to support a suppressor. Am I correct in asuming that the Beretta is one of the type that will actually work semi-auto when a can is attached, or do you still need a recoil assist or other device for semi-auto function to happen? Thanks for your help....Amanda

Re: Beretta M-9 to be Suppressed--Best barrel?
I used the stock barrel from my beretta and gemtech combo. Threaded by a friend and it works outstanding. As with all thread on suppressors be sure to periodically check to see if it has loosened while shooting. There are plenty of other aftermarket threaded barrels in 1/2x28.
I have read some info about tornado tech on some suppressor forums and everyone speaks highly of them but I have no personal knowledge of them. Lots of places out there that will thread your barrel for approx 35-45 dollars.
