Windham Weaponry used to be Bushmaster.
The owner sold Bushmaster to Remington, and later felt bad about laying off his employees and he missed the business, so he restarted his company as Windham Weaponry.
The SRC is an AR-15 Carbine with a carbon fiber lower receiver.
Windham has a good reputation.
Here's the site page on the SRC:
Here's their manufacturers area on the AR-15 Forum. You can do some reading on the company and guns there, and ask questions:

The guy built the Bush (we referred to it as Trash) Master to a price point. While he did, to a point, stand behind his product, it didn't leave those of us depending upon them as duty firearms with a warm fuzzy feeling about either the brand or the dude. Yes, I can give chapters and verses.
Bush Master did sell to the DOD at one point without apparent major issues. Don't know who owned the brand at that time. We provided a pre-issue test protocol to at least one command. 2 out of 400 flunked. Not all that bad, but no information about service life, which we did not find acceptable.
Given the prices of Windham, he apparently learned that buying cheap parts was self defeating. I'm told they're decent. I personally won't buy one.
