| Fixed Stock to a Telestock
I am planning on changing my AR over to a telestock. I have everything except the buffer and the spring(I think). I have a few questions that I am sure that will be easy to answer. 1) Is there a different spring for the fixed stock configuration and the telestock configuration? 2) Is a different buffer required for the shorter stock? I have heard it both ways and now I need to hear it from someone that knows! 3) Is there anything else that needs to be changed? I remember seeing something on a retainer screw that may be too long in one case. Any help in preventing me from making a costly mistake will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. ![]() ![]() |

Just watch for the takedown pin detent spring as you remove the stock. Its a tiny little bugger that can escape at inopportune times. Don't ask me how I know.
