I'd be wary, a One Post Wonder who seems to only come here to promote one website, the broken English... just me, but I'd be cautious.

Back when Dean and some of us moderated the Highroad this would never have stayed up more than about an hour.

2, I don’t consider this SPAM . . . yet. He just announced his site which is a database of ammo sellers that may be of interest to some of our members. If he continues to post without contributing, things may change. 3) It’s not like this site is getting a lot of traffic lately, sometimes any traffic can be good traffic. 4) I really didn’t want to get into this here but here it is: On Sunday the 31st I was discharged from the hospital after five days after having a golf-ball sized kidney stone removed. I got home at 9:00AM. At 10:30 I smelled smoke and the next thing I knew the house that my family and I have lived in for the past 31 years was on fire. I can now cross being dragged out of a burning building off my bucket list. I was taken right back to the hospital for another five days as there was no place that was handicapped accessible for me and my family to go. My wife, sons, and dog spent five days at a seedy motel as that was the only place that accepted dogs. Finally we moved in with my sister for a few days. It is doable but not the greatest setup so, we will be moved again to a condo type apartment on Tuesday for the duration. (It pays to have good insurance). TL;DR, my mind has been elsewhere. If that post bothers people that much I will get rid of it. Best, Ed Last edited by SpecialEd; 06-14-2020 at 05:01 PM.

So my personal policy is to make note of such things and watch them, and see what happens. I did delete one in the last week or two that seemed to be obvious spam. Thank you all for your vigilance and concern. And Ed, best of luck to you, and get well soon! ![]()

Special Ed, FIRST & MOST important. = GET WELL SOON. (I will ask my lovely lady to pray for you & your family's recovery from your recent misfortunes.) Personally, I think that IF the OP's single post is to remain on Gunhub.com, that he should be a PAID advertiser, as his ONE post is an obvious sales pitch. just my OPINION, sw |

Ed: You've certainly been through the wringer. That's a terrible string of misfortune to have to deal with, especially while trying to dodge a pandemic on top of everything else. I'm glad you and your loved ones, including the dog, are OK, and I hope some things were salvageable from the house. There may not be much we can do from long distance, but if there's anything that someone could help you with just say the word. You have friends here. |

Cap'n, All things considered we are doing very well. We just moved into a "luxury" apartment all set up by our insurance company. Contrary to popular belief, all of our dealings whether with our insurance company, the contractors working on the house, everyone involved, has restored our faith in humanity. Everyone has been very helpful and gone above and beyond to help us out and make us comfortable. Freya the pup is adapting very well to each new change. She's been a champ. Thanks for you thoughts, Ed |

This is Freya's Buddy Major, next door neighbor at my sister's house where we stayed for 12 days. She will miss Major. I think we will all miss Major . . . and the deer in the yard, and the rabbits and foxes, and the humming birds. She will have to adapt to the city for now.

Ed, I am so glad you and yours are okay. I know I don't post much anymore, but I still try to keep up with you all. Take care. And that's a beautiful Sheppard. |

| Thanks! She's a mix and at a slender 60lbs she is probably not going to get any bigger, maybe some filling out.
