| HELP!!!
My shooting buddy brought his 50BMG to the range this Sunday to shoot! When he cracked open a can of his reloads the first TWO upper rows in the can was discolored only on the top half of the shell facing the top of the can! All these was cleaned and looked like new prior to his packing them in the cans! There was no moisture in the cans or any other substance that I could see that would have caused this! The bullets also have a slight discoloration to them also! He placed desiccant in with the can when he closed them. There was three ammo cans this happened in one containing AP's, one API, and the other was BALL. All three was only the TOP TWO rows! All the other rounds looked like new with no blemishes. I know him and he is very meticulous in his reloading procedures! Any Ideas!! ![]() Terry |

| Moisture
Looks like moisture to me or possible handling residue which you don't see when you put the stuff away.

To me, it looks like residue from the desicant. I've seen that residue on carbines that came out of the "white bags" too. rinses right off with a damp towel.
