9x18 ammo

Anyone used the silver bear or brown bear 9X18 Mak ammo?? Comments about it. I am looking for some ammo that will be used for fun shooting only. These are less money than S&B or the Win metric(which if I remember correctly is S&B).

Any ideas or places to buy/prices??---Thanks

I have shot thousands of the silver bear ammo out of my Mak and PA-63. Ammoman.com has the best prices, I believe.

I've used a couple thousands of rounds of Hungarian MFS, Norinco and Wolf in my East German Mak with perfect satisfaction.

I have not shot that exact ammo but my experience is this.

Russian ammo=more accurate looks just like brown bear, probably before their commercial packaging came out (white box).
Chinese ammo = softer shooting but slightly less accurate (green box).
CCI Blaser = too expensive for it's performance.
Hornady 95gr JHP reasonably accurate defense load.

I've only used the 90-95 grain stuff.
Aim surplus has a 115gr JHP that might be fun to experiment with.

I'm tempted to get some.

Anyone know the reputation of mesko ammunition?
