Wondering about the use of match .308 in an M1A rifle. I've read somewhere about hardened primers not being used in commercial and their tendency to double fire.
Any experience with safe and accurate brands? Your suggestions are appreciated.
Hi,
I would suggest trying several brands to find what works best for your rifle. My H-S HTR loves hornady TAP and my Smith Ent. M1A shoots best with Federal Gold Medal and my Smith Ent. EBR shoots great with TAP and Gold medal. Happy shooting. :soldier:
Try all the different brands, commercial and military, and see which one your rifle likes best. Then, stick to it. Believe it or not, rifles are picky.
If you reload, get the reloading manual for the bullets you want to experiment with, and experiment away.
